The PolishedCamper Journey
What began as a passion project in a small garage has blossomed into North America's premier vintage camper restoration company. Female Founded in 2024 by lifelong camping enthusiast Rebecca Smith, PolishedCamper was born from a shared love of road trips and vintage aesthetics.
After restoring the first travel trailer as a personal project, the overwhelming positive response from fellow travelers inspired her to turn the hobby into a business. Today, our team of master craftsmen has restored many vintage trailers, each with its own unique character and story.

Our Restoration Process
Every restoration begins with a thorough evaluation of the camper's condition. Our team documents all original features while identifying areas needing repair or modernization. We preserve as much of the original character as possible while ensuring structural integrity.
We focus on creating a fresh, modern interior while preserving the vintage exterior charm. All faucets are replaced with modern equivalents, and we thoroughly test plumbing systems for leaks. Electrical systems are tested to ensure functionality and safety. Every roof is professionally sealed with premium materials to ensure water tightness for years of worry-free camping.
Original cabinetry is carefully restored or replicated using period-appropriate materials. Upholstery is replaced with durable fabrics that match the era's aesthetic. Modern conveniences are subtly integrated without compromising the vintage feel.
Each camper undergoes a rigorous 150-point inspection process. We thoroughly test all systems, ensure proper sealing throughout, and give the exterior its signature polished finish. Our comprehensive quality checks make your camper is adventure-ready.
Note: These are vintage (older model) campers. None of the campers are perfect or in NEW condition. We do our best to check and upgrade the systems. Further, know that when driving a camper things will "rattle loose." Owning a vintage camper means fixing things once in a while.
